5 - Transcription

Joining a Call

Open the Transcription menu in the sidebar, paste a Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom meeting URL (plus a passcode if required), and click Start Transcription. A bot joins the call and transcript segments stream into the transcript panel in real time, attached to whichever version is in review.

For Zoom, paste the invite link (zoom.us/j/…) or the numeric meeting ID. If the link includes ?pwd=… (Zoom's Copy Invite Link), its passcode is used automatically; otherwise enter the meeting passcode in the passcode field. Personal links (zoom.us/my/…), host start links and Zoom Events links can't be joined.

Once connected, you can pause transcription at any time, during a break for example. The bot stays in the meeting, but nothing is saved until you resume. When the session wraps, click Stop Transcription to remove the bot from the call.
